What we do

What we repair

Impact repairs rock chips and the short cracks that develop from them. We do not perform full windshield replacements, side or rear glass, or camera recalibration. If your damage requires a replacement, we will tell you on the phone.

Rock chip repair

Stars, bullseyes, and combination breaks from road debris. Clear resin is injected into the damage, cured, and polished. The chip stops spreading and becomes far less visible. $100.

Short crack repair

A crack that is still short and has not reached the edge of the glass can usually be repaired. Cracks lengthen with heat and cold, so the sooner it is treated, the better the result.

Multiple vehicles

Two injectors allow several vehicles to be repaired in a single visit, on site, during business hours.

A repair costs a fraction of a replacement

A chip repair is $100. A replacement windshield is typically $300 to $500 or more, and on newer vehicles with cameras behind the glass, considerably higher.

Chips spread

Heat, cold, and the defroster all put stress on the glass. A chip that could have been repaired today can become a crack across the windshield within days.

The vehicle never leaves

The repair is done where the vehicle is parked, in approximately 30 minutes, and it can be driven immediately afterwards.

What does a repair cost?
$100 per chip. The price quoted is the price charged, with no additional fees.
How long does it take?
Approximately 30 minutes per vehicle. The vehicle can be driven immediately afterwards.
Is the repair covered by insurance?
We do not bill insurance companies directly. Payment is made at the time of service and a receipt or invoice is provided. If your policy includes glass coverage, you can submit the receipt for reimbursement.
Can every chip be repaired?
Most chips and short cracks can. A long crack, one that has reached the edge of the glass, or damage directly in the driver's line of sight generally requires a replacement, which we do not provide. Send a photo and we will advise before you book.
Do I need to be present?
No. As long as the windshield is accessible, the repair can be completed and you will be notified by text when it is done.
Will the chip be invisible afterwards?
A repair stops the damage from spreading and makes it significantly less noticeable. It will not be completely invisible. Only a replacement achieves that.
Does a chip fail a Massachusetts inspection?
A spreading crack can result in a failed inspection. A properly repaired chip generally does not. We serve the Massachusetts and Connecticut border towns as well; call to confirm your area.
